When you work in ISO2HANDLE as a maintainer, you can use the editors (manual editor and form editor), create manuals, pages and forms. When you do this, you are automatically the author of these datasets.
By default, this means that only you may change and/or delete these datasets. You can see in the editors who the author of a dataset is.
In the manual editor click on the Gear icon to get to the settings of the manual:
Here you will find under the tab Author the author institutions.
When you are in the manual editor if a page edited with the pen, you will find the author settings on the Other options.
If you click on the gear in the form editor, you will come to the settings of the form.
Here you will find below Author the author's institutions:
By default, these permissions are set to ensure that other authors do not accidentally edit your datasets.
As an author, you can change the author and create someone else author of your manual, page or form.
So you can also have a manual of person A, for example with 10 pages where person A is author of 5 pages and person B is the author of the other 5 pages.
If you want to turn off this author protection and ensure that every maintainer can customize each dataset, please contact us. Then we can turn off this security.
