QR codes can be useful to send users to the right place without having to fill in a URL on their mobile phone.
This saves time and makes it possible to paste a QR code on, for example, as soon as asset management becomes a lot easier and more accurate.
Registration QR code
Once you edit a form, you can choose from 3 different goals in the QR code tab, which can achieve the QR code registration:
1: Opening the registration
Each registration has its own URL in ISO2HANDLE. This can be found in the options section of registration:
A QR code can also be generated from this URL. You do this by clicking onGenerate QR code. As soon as you do this, you will see the following popup:
You can save this QR code as an image, print it and, for example, paste it on a work equipment.
As soon as someone scans this code, it will automatically come to your environment. He will then be directed directly to this form and this registration. This can be useful if, for example, you want people to be able to immediately see the maintenance history of a device.
This can be useful if, for example, youAsset FormIn which you manage all your assets and aNotification formYou can indicate that a certain asset is no longer in need of replacement. You do this in this example in theAsset Form. If you choose this, you can specify which form the user should be directed to. In this case, it isNotification form. Then you can goAutofill-keyFind out which field in the notification form should be automatically filled with the scanned asset.
It is therefore necessary that the reporting form
ReferenceGo to the asset form in which you choose the asset.
Once you have done this, you can print QR codes from assets, paste them on the assets, and once someone scans them, they can immediately indicate what is going on with this asset.
This option ensures that if someone scans the QR, they simply enters the dashboard. But, when he opens another form and that form contains a field with the correct ID, it is automatically filled with the ID of this registration/asset. So you can then print the QR code of an asset and paste it on an asset.
As soon as someone scans this, he enters, for example, your tile dashboard where he has the choice toReport malfunction(of this asset), anUnsubscribe the machine(this asset) or completely different things to do.
As soon as he clicks onReport malfunctionThen it will appear in the fault notification form in which this asset is automatically chosen.
Print QR codes
ISO2HANDLE has a link with
Altec printers. This is a supplier of industrial label printers that are heat, cold, moisture and UV resistant. As soon as you have an Altec label printer, you can link it to your environment after which you can print your QR label directly from any registration with the push of a button.
Usually you also want to put some additional information on this sticker. So that you can be sure that you paste the right QR code on the right device.
In the case of an asset, for example, you also want to show the asset name or type.
You can do this through the fieldOpen Keys in QR footer.
To link your Altec printer, go to the settings page, where you click onAppsAnd then onPrinter management:
You will then appear in the following popup in which you can configure your Altec printer:
The form itself also has a QR code. You can find these in the settings tab of each form:
As soon as you click hereGenerate QRThen you will receive a QR code that you can print and lead directly to the fill tab of this form.
