You can create a new form in the form editor by clicking the "New +" button.
As soon as you do this, a new form will be created immediately after which you can change this form. You can do this by dragging the form elements to the center on the left. On the right you will see a live preview of your form. If you have a small screen, you can also click on the enlarged icon at the top right so that the third column will be placed below the first two columns.
The standard form is the standard and places the fields together. This form type has the following advantages and disadvantages
Benefits:
- You can use all element types
- You can use Conditional logic
- You can make the form available for mobile
- You can make sure that the user is only allowed to fill out the form and he will only see his own registration.
Cons:
- In the enter tab you can only see the registration you do. But under the registrations tab you will find all registrations.
Other options
- Number of columns: Allows you to determine how many columns the fields should be displayed. You can use this "Empty space"fields.
The form is mainly there to make overviews or lists. It places the fields side by side as columns. These lists can then be used later by standard forms so that people never have to fill in things twice and you can base charts and workflows on them.
Advantages:
- Clear in the case of lists
- Clear in the case of registration statements such as a certificate register
Cons:
- Not all field types are available
- Not available on mobile
- NoneConditional logic
- You can tell a user that he can only fill out the form, but he will see all other registrations.
Other options
- Field width; Per field you can determine how much width it will take in the view. If you set all fields to "car", you automatically look at what the best distribution is. In most cases, this is the best choice. However, you can influence this by giving the fields a pixel value (e.g. 100px). This allows you to give fields more space.
The SWOT form is (as the name suggests) mainly for SWOT forms. You can decide how many columns this form type has after which the fields are placed in a grid.
